When bringing cash, to exchange for Soles in Peru, you must make sure that it is in perfect or excellent condition which means that it doesn't have even the tiniest tears or rips. Also, when receiving cash, other than Soles, make sure it is also in excellent or perfect condition in case you may need to exchange it later for Soles. This is because the banks won't accept such damaged notes and hence neither can the money exchangers who offer a better rate than the banks or airports.
